The Grey Papers
Ever heard of a white paper?
Well, The Grey Papers are a bit like that, but without the certainty.
I will be exploring complex topics from different perspectives to support you as you bring together all this information in your clinical practice.
The aim of these papers is to give you insights into the evidence from a balanced perspective, ensuring you can see from all sides of the discussion.

“Journalism is printing what someone else does not want published; everything else is public relations.”
In 2006 I walked out of the massive Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, threw my morterboard cap in the air and entered the field of Journalism. I followed in the footsteps of other great writers that I grew up reading and respecting in the goal of raising awareness of injustice, and holding authorities accountable for their activities.
Eight-year old Laura that used to produce her own newspaper, hang out at the Blackpool Gazette to watch the writers write and who made presentations for her class about the history of journalism and the necessary role of writers in society beamed with pride.
The truth is, I have always been a writer and a translator of information. I love taking a topic, question or statement and trying to understand it from different angles, and writing is a part of that process. There are many reasons I left the field of journalism, but the practice of journalism has never left me.
And so, I am very excited to work on The Grey Papers for our community.
The Grey Papers will bring all of my writing and investigative skills together as I explore some of the most relevant, controversial and complex topics affecting our area of practice today.
As part of The Subscription, I will be dropping The Grey Paper into your inbox regularly for you to read, and for those of you in the Ultimate Subscription, we will be opening up discussion channels to explore this work as a community.
